Algarve: A Frenchman and his partner hire their future suspected murderer after a violent burglary

A 45-year-old man, Natalino Cordeiro, has been arrested for the murder of 79-year-old Jean-Marie Grenier and his 62-year-old partner Milena, whose bodies were found in a cistern in Odiáxere, Algarve. Cordeiro, hired after a violent burglary, allegedly inflicted fatal blows with a blunt object. The investigation was prompted by a call from the suspect and a suspicious chemical odor at the scene. A financial motive is favored by investigators.
