10 killed as plane crashes in DR Congo and bursts in flames

More than 10 people were killed when a Let L-410 UVP Turbolet aircraft crashed into a residential area in Kenge, DRC, and caught fire. The plane was attempting to land after experiencing difficulties and circled over the city multiple times before crashing. Military personnel may have been on board, but their identities are unconfirmed. The pilot reportedly tried to jump out of the aircraft before the crash, and no residents in the area were injured.
