10th Palm Oil Planter’s Day: Farm Profitability at the Center of Discussions

San Pedro is hosting the 10th Palm Oil Planter’s Day from October 22 to 24, 2026, under the patronage of Agriculture Minister Bruno Nabagné Koné. The event focuses on the role of private planters in a sustainable oil palm sector and addresses the economic and technical challenges they face. At Place Rotary, PALMCI partners presented products and solutions, while the official ceremony brought together local authorities, PALMCI staff, and planters. Discussions center on making farms sustainably profitable, with the year’s top private planter, the “As de la Palme,” set to be selected from the nominees.
