11 dead, 52 houses destroyed in Nasarawa communal crisis - Police

The Police Command in Nasarawa State confirmed the death of 11 people and the destruction of over 50 houses during a communal crisis on Friday in the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities. The incident was triggered by a reprisal attack following the alleged killing of two community members. Police Commissioner Shetima Mohammed ordered a manhunt for the perpetrators and reinforced police deployment in the area to restore order.
