12th Ordinary Congress of UNJCI: Government Calls for Turning the Page of Divisions

The 12th ordinary and elective congress of the National Union of Journalists of Côte d'Ivoire (UNJCI) opened Saturday in Abidjan with calls for unity. Minister Jean-Louis Moulot, representing the Communication Minister, urged delegates to overcome divisions to restore the organization's image. Organizing committee president Amos Béhonao highlighted 46 days of work toward a peaceful and credible congress, praising the attitude of candidates Marie-Laure N'Goran and Stéphane Bahi. The event also aims to modernize UNJCI's statutes.
