140 migrants in single dinghy rescued in English Channel

Around 140 migrants were rescued in the English Channel after calling for help from an inflatable dinghy launched from the Normandy coast. They were picked up by two RNLI boats and taken to shore in the UK. This rescue comes after a meeting between Prime Minister Andy Burnham and French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss efforts to reduce small boat crossings.
