'1,402 Nigerians killed, abducted by terrorists in 96 days'

The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Intersociety, reported that 1,402 Christians were killed and abducted by terrorists in Nigeria between January 1 and April 6, 2026. Of these, 450 people were killed and 600 abducted during this period. Intersociety's chairman, Mr. Emeka Umeagbalasi, accused the Nigerian government of attempting to cover up the Christian genocide by promoting false narratives about farmer-herder conflicts.
