The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has summoned former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva, for questioning over an alleged $14.86 million fraud case. Sylva recently resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), accusing its leadership of abandoning the party's founding principles and criticizing the performance of the APC-led government. In his resignation letter, he also denounced the increasing politicization of the EFCC.
