152 terrorists killed, 142 arrested, 219 surrender as Zulum hails troops

Between August 1 and 31, 2026, troops of Operation HADIN KAI killed 152 members of Boko Haram/ISWAP and arrested 142 others. Additionally, 219 terrorists surrendered to security forces. Governor Babagana Umara Zulum praised the troops for their courage and commitment to maintaining security in communities. The operations also resulted in the recovery of 58 weapons and 1,184 rounds of ammunition.
