The family of detained businessman Mr. Ufoma Joseph Immanuel has raised concerns over his treatment in detention and threats to his life. Immanuel, prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over a $1.5 million oil deal, is currently handcuffed to his hospital bed at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. The family has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and the judiciary for a fair trial and humane treatment, emphasizing that the state must protect his life and health.
