15m Nigerian children out of school, FG raises fresh alarm

The Federal Government of Nigeria has raised serious concerns about the worsening out-of-school children crisis, disclosing that about 15 million children are currently out of school. Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, announced intensified nationwide efforts to tackle this crisis through data-driven reforms and targeted investments. He also mentioned that nearly one million out-of-school children have been mapped for reintegration into formal schools.
