UNIOSUN VC Warns 54 Newly Inducted Laboratory Scientists Against Diagnostic Errors

Osun State University Vice-Chancellor Professor Clement Adebooye urged 54 newly inducted medical laboratory scientists to work with diligence, accuracy and empathy at their induction ceremony. He warned that inaccurate test results can misdirect doctors, lead to inappropriate treatment and endanger patients’ lives. Adebooye stressed careful specimen collection and analysis, including for specialised tests such as DNA investigations. College of Health Sciences Provost Professor Daniel Adekanle congratulated the inductees and underscored laboratory testing’s role in diagnosis, treatment and patient monitoring.
