Kinshasa: ASADHO concludes its project on youth engagement in promoting and protecting civic space in DRC

The African Human Rights Defense Association (ASADHO) concluded its project in Kinshasa on September 30, launched in May to strengthen young people's civic engagement in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Supported by the NGO 11.11.11, the project included activities such as diagnostics, training, digital campaigns, and legislative participation, especially on the right to protest. It aimed to promote responsible, non-violent civic action and to revive a legislative proposal on public demonstrations, emphasizing access to public information and involving deputies to advance this reform.
