2,000 Amnesty slots: If approved, where did they go? — MOSIEND asks Tinubu

The Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta, MOSIEND, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently intervene regarding the alleged exclusion of about 2,000 members of the Egberepapa Camp/Niger Delta Liberation Force from the Presidential Amnesty Programme. MOSIEND emphasized that this 17-year-old grievance requires presidential attention, calling for an independent verification of records and the integration of affected ex-agitators into the program. The organization also demanded disclosure of the criteria used for allocating amnesty slots and a clear mechanism for resolving the issue.
