20230 World Cup: Morocco accused of trying to “steal” the final from Spain!

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of Spain’s People’s Party, threatened to withdraw Spain from hosting the 2030 World Cup if the country does not get the final. Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid and a Feijóo ally, called his stance “reasonable” and accused Morocco of trying to “steal” the World Cup from Spain. Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu is competing with the Grand Stade Hassan II, under construction in Benslimane and planned to hold around 115,000 spectators. FIFA has yet to decide, while Moroccan outlet Le360 Sport responded by asking when the 2030 World Cup became Spain’s to claim.
