2026 AMVCA: Again, Lisabi wins Best Indigenous Language Film

The movie Lisabi, featuring actors Lateef Adedimeji and Mobimpe, won the Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) award at the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA, held on May 9, 2026, in Lagos. Lateef dedicated the award to his wife, Mobimpe, who gave birth to triplets a week ago. The film also won the same award in 2025.
