Twenty African countries are eligible to vote for the 2026 Ballon d'Or as they are among the top 100 in the FIFA rankings. The eligible countries include Morocco (6th), Senegal (18th), Egypt (24th), and Nigeria (26th). Each journalist will select and rank 10 players from the 30 nominees, using a points system from 15 for the first choice to 1 for the tenth.
