2026 Ballon d'Or: Numbers of nominees, categories confirmed ahead of awards

The organizers of the Ballon d'Or, France Football, announced that the shortlists for all 12 award categories will be revealed on September 8. The nominated players, coaches, and clubs will be disclosed ahead of the main ceremony in London on October 26. The categories include the Men's and Women's Ballon d'Or, as well as awards for young talents, goalkeepers, and coaches.
