2026 Ballon d'Or: Yamal picks player to win award

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal stated he does not mind teammate Pau Cubarsi winning the Ballon d'Or. Both Spaniards are among the 30 finalists for this year's award. Yamal said Cubarsi was the best young player last year and told him he would be next to win, promising to give him the award if he doesn't win it himself.
