2026 U-17 Women's World Cup: Adegbuyi promises more goals for the Flamingos

Oluwakemi Adegbuyi is aiming to keep scoring for Nigeria's Flamingos at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco. The 16-year-old opened her account in a 2-0 win over Puerto Rico and scored again in Friday night's 3-1 victory over defending champions North Korea in Rabat. Another goal against North Korea was disallowed because of a foul in the build-up. Adegbuyi said she hoped to score more goals and was pleased Nigeria had earned the three points.
