2026 U-17 Women’s World Cup: Flamingos’ Umejiaku wins Golden Ball

Nigeria forward Oluebube Umejiaku won the Golden Ball as the best player at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. The 16-year-old helped the Flamingos claim their first title in the competition, scoring two minutes into the second half of their 2-1 win over Japan.
