2026 U-17 Women’s World Cup: Rilany expects tough test against the Flamingos

Brazil U-17 head coach Rilany Silva expects a difficult semi-final against Nigeria’s Flamingos on Wednesday night at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Nigeria lost 2-1 to Poland in its opening match but then beat Puerto Rico, DPR Korea, Mexico and Venezuela to reach the last four, while Brazil remain unbeaten. Rilany called Nigeria a very physical team that can keep running until the final whistle and said Brazil would need a strategic game plan. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nigerian time at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat.
