2027: ADC inaugurates Cross River campaign council

The opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) inaugurated its campaign council in Cross River State at a ceremony attended by party officials and supporters from all 18 chapters. Former commissioner Prince Henry Enyong was named director general, with Asuquo Ekpo as campaign secretary and state women’s leader Christabel Mfam Kasang among the officials. Ntufam Ekpo Okon said the council would speak with residents and urge them to distance themselves from the ruling party, which he blamed for imposing hardship on Nigerians. State ADC chairman Godwin Effanga praised the party’s gubernatorial candidate and called on residents to vote and defend their ballots.
