2027: ADC will be on the ballot, but Atiku and David Mark faction candidates may not, says Keyamo

Aviation and Aerospace Development Minister Festus Keyamo says the ADC will appear on the ballot in Nigeria’s 2027 general elections. He says candidates from the faction led by former Senate President David Mark, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, may be excluded depending on the Supreme Court’s final ruling. Keyamo’s statement follows a ruling by Federal High Court judge Peter Lifu in Abuja that nullified the David Mark-led caretaker leadership and several committee decisions, including the process that selected Atiku as the party’s presidential candidate.
