2027: ADC Will Be on the Ballot, but Atiku May Not, Keyamo Says

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, says the ADC will take part in the 2027 general elections despite a Federal High Court ruling nullifying the party’s David Mark-led leadership. He said candidates nominated by that faction, including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, may not appear on the ballot, depending on the Supreme Court’s final decision. The ruling also invalidated the presidential primary that selected Atiku as the ADC candidate. Atiku and the party have rejected the decision and plan to appeal.
