2027 AFCON qualifiers: Morocco to host Niger twice, but not at the same stadium!

Morocco will host Niger for the third and fourth rounds of 2027 AFCON qualifying on November 13 and 17, at Casablanca’s Mohammed V Complex and Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, respectively. Niger had initially been due to play the first match in Accra, but Ghana withdrew as the Accra Sports Stadium was unavailable; a request to play in Cotonou received no response. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation reportedly offered to host both matches after Niger encountered difficulties finding an approved venue. Morocco, which beat Gabon and Lesotho in September, leads Group A and could secure qualification with two more wins.
