2027 AFCON qualifiers: Super Eagles suffer shock 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau

Guinea-Bissau took control of Group L in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series by defeating Nigeria 3-0 in Bissau. The Super Eagles failed to threaten the hosts for most of the first half before Franculino Djú scored to give Guinea-Bissau the lead. Mama Baldé doubled the score in the 66th minute, and added a third in stoppage time, putting Guinea-Bissau three points ahead at the top of the group, with Nigeria in second place with three points.
