2027: Akpabio predicts Akwa Ibom will give Tinubu the most votes in the South-South

Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, predicted that Akwa Ibom would give Bola Tinubu the highest number of votes in the South-South region in the 2027 presidential election. He spoke on Sunday in Uyo at a church service dedicating the APC’s election campaign to God, urging party members to unite and mobilise voters. Akpabio credited Tinubu’s support with helping him become Senate President and urged party members to put the welfare of the people ahead of political ambitions.

Bulgaria’s Iotova leads in presidential run-off exit polls

Rabiu Kwankwaso, vice-presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), urged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) not to nominate a Northern presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
