2027: Atiku vows to tackle insecurity and restore fuel subsidies

African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar vowed to address Nigeria’s security challenges and restore fuel subsidies if elected in 2027. ADC campaign director-general Senator Austin Akobundu said hunger, insecurity and unemployment would be central campaign issues. The party’s national chairman urged residents to back Atiku, Abubakar Malami for governor and other ADC candidates; the rally concluded with Malami receiving the party flag as its governorship candidate.
