2027: Bury differences to re-elect Tinubu and Otu, governor’s wife tells APC women

In Calabar, Eyoawan Bassey Otu urged APC members to reconcile and unite to secure the 2027 re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu. At a meeting of the party’s Women Mobilisation Directorate, convened at the request of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, she called on women to campaign in their homes, churches, markets and neighbourhoods. She said her free medical outreach had carried out more than 2,000 surgeries across 12 editions in three years, with a 13th edition scheduled for the following week. Betta Edu said the APC would not repeat its 2023 election mistakes and said women’s commitment would be judged by their performance at polling units.
