2027: Christians now more comfortable with Muslim-Muslim ticket - APC chieftain

An APC chieftain, Farouk Aliyu, said Nigerian Christians are now more comfortable with the Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2027 presidential election than before 2023. He argued that President Bola Tinubu's administration has allayed fears of religious marginalization. Tinubu retained Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for 2027. Aliyu defended the decision, stating the party wanted to keep a winning ticket.
