2027: DSS creating disorder in Sokoto to rig for APC, Atiku alleges

African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar accused the DSS and other security forces of creating disorder in Sokoto State to rig the 2027 elections for the APC. At a press conference at his Abuja residence on Tuesday, he alleged that ADC supporters wearing party-branded clothing were being harassed and cited the attack on the party’s Sokoto governorship candidate, Manir Dan’iya. Atiku said DSS leaders were recruiting people to stage protests, potentially giving the state government grounds to impose a curfew and block the ADC’s campaign. He called on the federal government to investigate and ensure opposition parties can campaign freely.

ASUU says the federal government allocated 11,824 hectares to the university and that it has documents establishing its ownership.
