2027: Flogging threat may turn voters against APC — PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) condemned the reported threat by Borno State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Sainna Buba, to flog those who do not support the APC in the 2027 elections. PDP National Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Haruna Mohammed, stated that such threats could alienate voters and undermine the peaceful conduct of the elections. He urged the Borno State governor to take action against the commissioner and called on PDP members to refrain from responding to inflammatory remarks.
