2027 Hajj: Lagos seeks more slots for pilgrims

The Lagos State Government has appealed to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for additional slots for the 2027 Hajj, stating that the 1,224 slots allocated are inadequate. Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ibrahim Layode, emphasized that the state requires at least 2,500 slots to meet growing demand. He also expressed concerns about the quality of services during the 2026 Hajj, particularly regarding facilities at Arafat and the services provided by Flynas Airline.
