2027: Having 36 governors means nothing — Peter Obi

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), stated that support from governors does not determine election outcomes. In an interview on Noire TV, he noted that in the previous election, despite having no governor backing, he won 12 states, with two allegedly stolen through rigging. He said Rabiu Kwankwaso won one state, while APC, PDP, and Labour each won 12. He emphasized that the next campaign should focus on making Nigeria work for the poor.
