2027: Kwankwaso ally Odunzeh defects to ADC in Imo

Uche Odunzeh, a former governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in Imo State and ally of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is set to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This move comes as political activity in Imo begins to pick up ahead of the 2027 elections. Odunzeh has support in parts of the state, particularly in Orlu zone, where he gained traction in the last governorship race.
