2027: LP cautions Onyejeocha over bid for fifth Reps term

The Labour Party (LP) in Abia State criticized Nkeiruka Onyejeocha for her decision to resign from her ministerial position to seek a fifth term in the House of Representatives. LP chairman Peter Azubuike stated that it is time to allow other qualified individuals, particularly younger politicians, the opportunity to represent the constituency. He also expressed support for the incumbent representative, Amobi Ogah, for re-election in 2027.
