2027: NANS hails DSS over suspension of Sowore’s prosecution till after polls

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) praised the decision of the Director-General of the Department of State Services, Mr. Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, to suspend the prosecution of Mr. Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress presidential candidate, until after the January 2027 elections. NANS National President, Comrade Akinteye Babatunde, described the decision as a commendable demonstration of commitment to democracy and electoral integrity, noting its alignment with regional and international democratic principles.
