2027: NDC Campaign Director Urges Atiku to Join Obi-Kwankwaso Alliance

Ibrahim Abdulkarim, Director-General of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Campaign Council, urged Atiku Abubakar and other opposition figures to join the alliance backing Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for the 2027 presidential election. He said the opposition must unite on a common platform to defeat the ruling APC, adding that Obi is the NDC’s presidential candidate and Kwankwaso has set aside his own ambition. Abdulkarim said the party has more than a thousand support groups and has measures to protect votes. He promised a peaceful nationwide campaign to mobilise voters who have lost confidence in the electoral process.
