2027: NDC Will Not Withdraw Candidates for ADC, Kwankwaso Says

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) vice-presidential candidate alongside Peter Obi, said the party would remain in the 2027 presidential race and would not withdraw in favour of the ADC or any other party. He rejected claims that the NDC was working with the ruling APC and accused the ADC campaign council of attacking the NDC instead of promoting its own candidate. Kwankwaso said the ADC offered no better alternative to the APC-led government, which he accused of failing Nigerians, and argued that the NDC could address insecurity, education, healthcare and economic challenges.
