2027: ‘No falsehood will deter our dream to salvage Zamfara,’ NDC says

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Zamfara State says it will press ahead with its 2027 governorship ambition despite criticism. Publicity secretary Kassim Almustafa Kayatawa rejected an article by Suleiman Ahmad Tudu that questioned the party’s candidate, Senator Kabir Garba Marafa. The NDC said Marafa was discussing the separate responsibilities of the federal and Zamfara state governments, not campaigning with a resignation letter. According to the party, he would resign only if his efforts to ensure the federal government met its obligations failed.
