2027: No party can match the APC’s political structure, says Sambo

Sumner Sambo, Arise News’ director of news and politics, says the ruling APC has the strongest political structure and campaign council among Nigeria’s major parties. Speaking Monday on Arise Television’s “Morning Show,” he praised the organisation of President Bola Tinubu’s team and the composition of the party’s presidential campaign council. He noted, however, that voters in major blocs, particularly in the North, are facing economic and political pressures as well as insurgency-related insecurity. Sambo also pointed to internal contradictions within the APC and said the NDC was due to launch its own presidential campaign council the following day.
