2027: ‘No vacancy in Aso Rock,’ North will vote 100% for Tinubu, says Kano Governor Yusuf

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf said the North would support Bola Tinubu 100% in the 2027 presidential election. He made the declaration in Abuja on Saturday at the unveiling of the Arewa for Asiwaju national headquarters. Yusuf cited what he described as a 1999 political agreement between the North and South granting each region two consecutive terms, pointing to Muhammadu Buhari’s eight years in office as precedent. He said the unwritten arrangement should be respected and praised Tinubu’s performance.
