2027: Opposition coalition moves to accept more parties

The Central Leadership Committee of the G100-backed opposition coalition has resolved to expand its membership to include other opposition parties interested in joining the national anti-Bola Tinubu coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections. Currently, the coalition includes several parties, such as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The Committee also agreed to operationalize principles ensuring equality and mutual respect among coalescing parties.
