2027: Oshiomhole says Peter Obi wants ‘turn-by-turn democracy’

Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole criticized Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate, for saying he would govern for only four years if elected in 2027. At an APC campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, Oshiomhole argued that Obi could not lead Nigeria for four years after, in his view, failing to fix Anambra State during eight years as governor. He called the proposal “turn-by-turn democracy” and said the country needed leaders who tell the truth.
