2027: Otu says Cross River will vote massively for Tinubu

Cross River Governor Bassey Otu pledged massive support for Bola Tinubu at an APC presidential rally in Calabar, saying the state would increase its votes to back Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. He attributed the pledge to the positive impact of Tinubu’s administration and described Cross River as an emerging investment destination. APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda promoted Tinubu’s economic agenda, including a proposed deep-sea port in Calabar, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, and rail and road links. He said the projects would expand trade and employment opportunities in Cross River and the South-South region.
