Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, is shifting his focus from a governorship bid to contesting for the House of Representatives seat for Agege Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections. After political consultations, he redirected his attention to the Lagos West Senatorial District but faced resistance within the APC. Consequently, President Tinubu reportedly advised him to pursue a seat in the House of Representatives instead.
