2027 Presidency: Accord faction picks Imumolen, eyes youth support

A faction of the Accord Party has elected Prof. Christopher Imumolen as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. The election was conducted via consensus at a Special National Convention in Lagos. Imumolen, who previously contested in 2023, aims to attract youth support and address unemployment and insecurity. The faction will submit his name to INEC by September.
