2027: Sowore’s AAC asks Tinubu to host campaign council inauguration at Presidential Villa

The African Action Congress (AAC) has asked President Bola Tinubu for permission to inaugurate its Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja, on November 11, 2026. In a letter signed by National Secretary Oshiokhue Philip Ikpeminoghena, the party also requested food, drinks and logistical support for 5,000 attendees from Nigeria and abroad. The AAC cited equal treatment of political parties and arrangements reportedly provided to the ruling APC for a similar event. Omoyele Sowore is the AAC’s candidate for the 2027 election.
