2027: ‘Stop celebrating’ — Abati rebukes Keyamo over judgment against Atiku

Reuben Abati criticized Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo for celebrating the Federal High Court judgment that removed the David Mark-led leadership of the ADC. Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Friday, Abati said the opposition’s concerns were about the timing, optics and speed of the celebrations, not the courts’ right to decide disputes. He urged Keyamo to “stop celebrating,” noting that the ADC would appeal and that the Court of Appeal could examine procedure, timing, technical issues and evidence. Abati said public celebrations by a minister with no electoral responsibilities risk fueling suspicions of interference.
